The responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to design and execute biological and/or biophysical experiments to understand the ADME properties of large molecule therapeutics (and non-traditional small molecule therapies) in support of both drug discovery and early development programs. This is a lab-based role, with an emphasis on assay/technology development for the purposes of defining mechanisms of in vivo clearance and/or biodistribution processes. This role requires an understanding of preclinical ADME and bioanalytical techniques and an individual that can work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment. Other responsibilities include data interpretation and communication of results to project team representatives and electronic laboratory notebook keeping of results. The candidate may also be responsible for developing and executing department strategy for drug candidate teams as a PKDM project representative.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree PhD OR PharmD OR MD [and relevant post-doc where applicable]
• OR Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience

Nice To Haves

• PhD or MS in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of protein therapeutics drug discovery and development experience in biotech industry.
• Basic understanding of protein therapeutics pharmacokinetics.
• Expertise, and a strong interest in evaluating protein-protein interactions using modern biophysical analytic techniques.
• Expertise in protein biochemistry and/or cell biology techniques, including reagent preparation, assay development, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Experience translating biochemical and biophysical observations and phenomena into relevant cellular and animal-based models with mechanistic insights is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and interest to learn and deliver results in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsibilities
