Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with 6 years of experience, Master’s degree with 2–3 years of experience, or PhD (postdoctoral experience preferred)
Extensive experience with LC/MS and biologic sample preparation
Advanced understanding of chemistry principles applied to bioanalytical method development
Advanced knowledge of LC/MS theory and biologic sample preparation techniques
Experience with high‑resolution mass spectrometry platforms, including Thermo Orbitrap or Exploris systems
Familiarity with triple quadrupole mass spectrometers such as Sciex 6500 or 6500+
Knowledge of regulated bioanalysis, method development workflows, proteomics sample preparation, and automation
Strong ability to prepare and deliver well‑organized scientific presentations

Responsibilities

Develop reliable extraction, chromatographic, and mass spectrometric procedures for complex bioanalytical methods
Document method development activities in accordance with established processes and procedures
Communicate project progress and technical challenges to Associate Director and Project Management
Present method development data at Prevalidation Committee Meetings
Collaborate independently with Project Management and clients to provide project updates
Guide wet laboratory staff through clear technical instruction and communication
Support analytical teams during method hand-off following successful development
