At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking a Senior Scientist, MRI to join our Imaging team. The successful candidate will work with the Imaging team's Lead MRI Scientist to execute preclinical MRI studies of rodent models, in collaboration with various therapeutic focus areas, technology teams, and imaging scientists at Regeneron. This will involve coordinating with scientists on experimental design, planning and scheduling animal imaging sessions, acquiring MR images using the 7T Bruker BioSpin system, and ensuring MRI data are relevant, actionable, and of high quality. These data and derived results will be packaged for communication to Regeneron's broader scientific community. You will also collaborate with imaging and therapeutic focus area scientists to optimize and develop MRI protocols for a variety of new MRI techniques and animal models. Current and emerging projects include T1, T2, and T2 mapping of major organs to study iron overload in a mouse model; neuroanatomical volume measurements from high-resolution in vivo brain imaging to measure volumetric brain changes associated with aging and disease; high-resolution anatomical imaging of the inner ear; and magnetic resonance spectroscopy to measure local brain metabolite concentration in genetic models of metabolic disorders. Regeneron's broad biological focus guarantees that you will always have something new to learn and contribute to.
