ECS is seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer with expertise in immunology, nucleic acid-based prophylactics and therapeutics, synthetic biology, and cell engineering to serve as a Scientific Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA). This role will support an ARPA-H Program Manager in accelerating better health outcomes by managing complex and leading-edge R&D projects. The position involves supporting programs related to novel therapeutic modalities such as nucleic acids, viruses, commensal microorganisms, and cell therapies, as well as bioengineered solutions for health issues at the intersection of host biology and polymers/minerals. Current and planned efforts include in vivo cell engineering, protein editing, tunable therapies, trans-omic sequencing platform development, and detection/removal of toxic substances. This is a remote, temporary position.
