About The Position

PRECISION AQ, a leading payer marketing agency, supports global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients in achieving commercial excellence by demonstrating the value of medical treatments to various stakeholders. As a Senior Scientific Associate, you will be responsible for writing medical content, collaborating with internal teams to meet client objectives, and contributing to the accessibility and affordability of groundbreaking medicines. The role offers external training, mentorship, and a cross-functional team environment.

Requirements

  • Doctorate level degree such as PharmD or PhD.
  • 2-4 years of experience in medical communications, healthcare agency, medical education, or a similar field.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for a variety of managed care audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage competing client priorities, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Must be able to work standard CST business hours to support clients in the Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the medical point person on assigned accounts.
  • Develop, write, and translate complex scientific data for a broad audience across multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Ensure project quality and outcomes through in-depth technical expertise in assigned therapeutic categories and/or managed care areas.
  • Develop strategic content for a range of medical materials, including slide presentations, advisory boards, strategy guides, monographs, discussion guides, and training resources.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams to refine content in line with strategic imperatives.
  • Communicate medical content with internal teams and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Attend medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings.
  • Participate in internal team meetings, such as project kick-off meetings, weekly status meetings, client meetings, and internal brainstorm/review meetings.
  • Contribute ideas for new business proposals and tactical planning within assigned accounts.
  • Mentor junior-level writers.
