About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler to work as the lead scheduler for a large $750M Healthcare Project – 5 days a week on site required in Mission Viejo California.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in construction scheduling/planning & Management.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required); familiarity with other scheduling and project controls tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience on construction projects (Healthcare Preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.
  • Experience with cost and resource loading, earned value management (EVM), and schedule forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with risk analysis tools (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation).
  • Familiarity with contract types (lump sum, GMP, cost-plus) and their scheduling implications.
  • Experience in multi-project or program-level scheduling environments.
  • Familiarity with Power BI

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed master project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools (Primavera P6).
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities into a cohesive project timeline.
  • Lead schedule development workshops with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and scenario planning.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual performance and field input.
  • Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks; recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to senior leadership and clients.
  • Support claims analysis, delay analysis (e.g., Time Impact Analysis), and dispute resolution when required.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
