About The Position

VistaVu Solutions is seeking a seasoned consultant to join its S/4HANA Cloud Public Team. The Senior SAP S4 MM Consultant configures and delivers ERP solutions that meet client business requirements using standard SAP best practices. The role bridges business stakeholders and the SAP system by analyzing client processes and translating them into system configurations or functional specifications, emphasizing fit-to-standard processes and minimal customization. The consultant ensures the S/4HANA Cloud solution is effective, efficient, and aligned with business needs through configuration, testing, and user training, while adhering to SAP clean core principles for maintainability and upgradability.

This is a remote role based in the United States, with preference for a Texas resident. U.S. citizenship is required because of client requirements. The consultant collaborates with clients and project teams through implementation, deployment, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing release management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of ERP implementation experience, with strong emphasis on SAP platforms.
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience, including quarterly release management and fit-to-standard delivery practices.
• Experience in a consulting or systems integrator environment, with fast-paced delivery and client-facing work.
• Demonstrated success leading or significantly contributing to at least 2 full-lifecycle ERP projects, from planning through post-go-live.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition configuration across multiple business processes, such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay.
• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and Central Business Configuration tools for implementing pre-delivered solutions, and ability to keep up with quarterly updates.
• Proficiency in SAP Activate phases, particularly Explore, Realize, and Deploy.
• Ability to produce clear, high-quality solution documentation, including designs, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with global or multi-country rollouts, including localizations, multicurrency, and distributed teams.
• Practical experience in manufacturing, distribution, or professional services.
• Ability to apply industry patterns such as project systems, time and billing, and production or inventory flows to scalable SAP Cloud ERP solutions.
• Experience with Agile practices and tools such as SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager for tracking requirements and testing.
• Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition certifications.
• Residence in Texas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients during the Explore phase to understand business processes, identify gaps with S/4HANA Cloud standards, recommend in-scope solutions, advise on process improvements, document current and future processes, and perform gap analysis.
• Configure S/4HANA Cloud through SAP Central Business Configuration and in-app settings to meet approved business needs across relevant modules, including Finance, Procurement, and Sales.
• Conduct unit testing, refine configurations based on test results and client feedback, and minimize custom code in keeping with clean core principles.
• Translate business requirements for system enhancements (FRICEW objects) into functional specification documents for technical teams; document custom development or integration needs and confirm technical designs support functional goals.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, process flows, and decision logs, and secure stakeholder approval of design documents before development begins.
• Create and execute functional and integration test plans; collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects or misconfigurations and ensure business processes are covered in System Integration Testing.
• Support clients during User Acceptance Testing and address issues to meet requirements and quality standards.
• Develop client-specific training materials, lead user training, transfer knowledge to Business Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts, and answer user questions about system workflows.
• Participate in cutover planning and ensure configuration, data loading, and validation are completed for production launch.
• Provide go-live support, address functional issues, verify system transactions, and support users; monitor usage and resolve defects during post-go-live hypercare.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Technical Consultants to deliver projects; communicate progress and risks and adapt solutions as business needs change.
• Maintain client feedback loops to identify enhancements achievable through SAP updates or minor configuration changes.
• Assess and enable relevant S/4HANA Cloud features as part of quarterly release management.
