Senior SAP Product Costing
About The Position
The SAP Food Business Unit designs, implements, and operates end-to-end processes for the food industry using tailored SAP applications and technology, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Dairy Management by msg, and SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg for S/4HANA. Consultants work with global industry leaders to address business challenges, improve processes and operational excellence, enable innovation and scalability, maximize profitability, increase sustainability, modernize core systems, and reimagine businesses with SAP digital solutions. The Senior SAP Product Costing professional provides expertise in SAP Product Costing and related SAP components, serves as a subject matter expert for the msg Food Business Unit in the Americas, and supports client guidance, presales, training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least seven years of progressive SAP experience in dairy, meat processing, food, beverage, agriculture, consumer food products, industrial food products, healthcare, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP Product Costing, CO submodules, and SAP project methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and background in a process-based industry such as dairy, food, protein, chemical, or pharmaceuticals.
- Experience with at least three full end-to-end SAP implementations.
- Excellent English presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, internally and externally, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adjust direction and priorities in a fast-paced, multifaceted work environment, with strong organization, time, detail, and process management.
- Professional consulting skills and the ability to create solutions that consider business objectives and requirements.
- Self-starter able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities
- Provide SAP Product Costing expertise for SAP components in CO-PC, CO submodules, and COPA.
- Learn and develop expert-level knowledge of the Activity Based Costing/Basics Modules of SAP Dairy Management by msg and SAP Meat and Fish Management by msg.
- Act as a Product Costing subject matter expert for the msg Food Business Unit in the Americas.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to clients.
- Support SAP Food Management presales efforts as assigned.
- Participate in training and mentoring customer and internal consultants.
- Contribute to and participate in msg Global Knowledge Communities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
