About The Position

NTT DATA Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP Application Consultant, FICO to act as a lead on assigned SAP implementation projects. This role involves implementing various FICO functionalities, documenting client requirements, configuring SAP solutions, testing, training users, and providing go-live and first month-end close support. The consultant will also identify areas for improvement and automation, and collaborate with other consultants for continuous improvement. Multiple positions are available, and remote work is an option.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Alternatively, Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience with SAP FI and CO, including understanding the integration points with other SAP modules.
Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP implementations.
Leadership experience on SAP implementation projects or production support.
Experience configuring multiple SAP modules OR experience across multiple industries.
Integration experience with other process areas.

Responsibilities

Act as Senior Finance & Controlling (FICO) Consultant and lead on assigned SAP implementation projects.
Implement FICO functionality including Core Financial Accounting, Core Controlling, Fixed Assets, Parallel Accounting/Document Splitting, Profit Center and Segment Accounting, Core Planning and Budgeting, Product Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis, Project Systems Cost Controlling, Investment Management, Core Financial Reporting, Core Management (Controlling) Reporting, and Reporting Tools.
Document client finance and controlling requirements and map to appropriate SAP solutions.
Configure the SAP finance and controlling solution and perform initial testing.
Identify system functional gaps requiring system enhancements and/or customization.
Test the SAP solution for accuracy and fulfillment of finance and controlling requirements.
Train users in master data management, new business processes, transactional activity, and report execution.
Provide go-live support and stabilization.
Provide first month end close support.
Identify areas with potential for future improvement and automation.
Collaborate with other FICO Consultants on continuous improvement of processes and tools utilized within the FICO functionality.
