About The Position

We are actively seeking senior-level Salesforce Engineers to support a growing portfolio of federal and state customers. The Salesforce Engineer will support the design, configuration, development, and integration of Salesforce solutions for a large-scale public sector benefits and service delivery program. This role works closely with product managers, business stakeholders, government partners, and cross-functional delivery teams to build and maintain secure, scalable, and user-centered digital services. This role is fully remote. At Fearless, this Senior Consultant collaborates with cross functional teams to align the technical vision, implementation, and quality of software systems across development, reliability, testing, and operations. This role will possess the skills to be able to bridge business objectives with technical execution in software development, infrastructure, security, and testing at an advanced application level of proficiency. The Sr. Consultant role will work on projects that allow them to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions while mentoring engineers, fostering collaboration, and aligning stakeholders with product and project goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development, engineering, or solution architecture experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Benefit Management capabilities.
  • Strong experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing architecture, profiles, permission sets, and governance best practices.
  • Experience with Git-based source control and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support program operations, case management, benefits administration, and customer service functions.
  • Implement scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions using declarative capabilities whenever possible, while leveraging custom development when necessary.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, government stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
  • Configure and extend Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) to support program-specific workflows, eligibility determination, benefits management, and constituent engagement.
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to platform standards, development practices, and technical governance.
  • Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, validation rules, custom objects, and other platform capabilities as needed.
  • Support data migration, data quality, and data governance initiatives across Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Review technical designs, code, configurations, and integration implementations to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to DevOps processes including source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and partner with support teams to resolve defects and improve system reliability.
  • Document technical solutions, architecture decisions, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct technical discovery and assessment activities to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for platform improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and government technology standards.
