About The Position

The Senior Salesforce Architect is a senior technical leader within Avetta’s Business Systems organization, responsible for defining scalable, sustainable, and secure solution architectures across the Salesforce platform and its surrounding business application ecosystem. The role leads architectural design for complex initiatives spanning Salesforce and integrated systems, ensuring alignment with business priorities, data governance standards, platform best practices, and long-term maintainability. It translates complex business requirements into technical designs covering application behavior, data flows, integrations, automation, security, and operational support. The architect provides leadership across Salesforce and connected enterprise applications, evaluates trade-offs across the technology landscape, and advises business and technology stakeholders. The role also promotes architectural consistency and reduces complexity through reusable patterns, standards, and scalable design practices. Employees within 30 miles of an Avetta office are required to work a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days from home; candidates outside that range may be considered for remote work.

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce platform architecture across declarative, programmatic, integration, and security domains.
  • At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise applications, systems design, or SaaS platform delivery.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting solutions spanning Salesforce and multiple integrated enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform limits, security model, data model design, automation tooling, and custom development patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, including REST and event-driven patterns, middleware or orchestration concepts, and cross-system data synchronization.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, scalable, and supportable technical designs.
  • Experience leading design reviews, architecture governance discussions, and cross-functional solution workshops.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, system-of-record design, observability, and operational support considerations.
