About The Position

Geotab is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator who will manage and configure Geotab's Salesforce platform, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and support to empower teams across the organization. This role involves configuring, administering, and continuously improving Geotab's Salesforce platform, managing data quality and security, maintaining and customizing core Salesforce applications, and overseeing all technical aspects of the platform including data migrations, third-party integrations, and AppExchange products. The position requires close collaboration with business leaders, subject-matter experts, and end users across departments, as well as partnering with the Learning Centre to deliver effective training and support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a clear and concise communicator, thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can manage multiple competing priorities, and has a natural inclination to mentor others. Comfort with AI tools and a proactive approach to applying them in an enterprise context is essential.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce Administration experience, with demonstrated involvement in design or advisory roles across large-scale, multi-department platform implementations.
  • Strong understanding of business process reengineering and change management principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into structured technical solutions.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, high-volume environment where demands shift frequently and urgently.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization clearly, concisely, and confidently.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools in a meaningful, enterprise-relevant way; familiarity with the Google Workspace ecosystem is a strong asset.
  • A strong sense of accountability, policy adherence, and data security practices, with experience operating in organizations that take privacy and compliance seriously.
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Technology, or a related field; experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and administer Salesforce enterprise edition, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and security across the organization.
  • Maintain and customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Knowledge, and Communities applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Guide business leaders and stakeholders to define key problems and propose appropriate process and technology solutions in a structured manner.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of Salesforce including data migrations, systems integrity, third-party applications, and AppExchange products.
  • Develop and test new functionality, customizations, and enhancements, and evaluate new Salesforce releases to assess impact across affected departments and users.
  • Work with the Learning Centre to develop training materials and provide ongoing training and support to Salesforce end users.
  • Mentor and guide team members, helping to define standards and elevate overall team capabilities within the Business Systems function.
