About The Position

Drive exceptional client growth and empower global trade as a Senior Sales Manager at Flexport. The Sales team at Flexport is at the forefront of redefining global trade, empowering our clients to navigate complex supply chains with ease. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Account Executives who are dedicated to maximizing growth within our existing client base. You'll partner closely with net new sales, operations, and product teams to develop and execute strategies that deepen client relationships and unlock significant value. This is an opportunity to directly impact Flexport's mission by fostering client success and expanding our footprint in critical markets, tackling challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or business development roles, with a proven track record of exceeding growth targets.
3+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing sales or account management teams, specifically focused on existing client portfolios.
Deep expertise in developing and executing strategies for account growth, retention, and upsell within a complex B2B environment.
Strong understanding of global logistics, supply chain management, or a related complex industry.
Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and develop sales talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and client-centricity.
A 'compliance first' attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives focused on growing existing client relationships.
Develop and execute strategic account growth plans, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand Flexport's services within key client portfolios.
Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Operations, and Product teams to ensure seamless client experiences and strategic alignment.
Analyze team performance data, implement best practices, and optimize sales processes to drive consistent revenue growth and client retention.
Act as an escalation point for complex client challenges, providing expert guidance and solutions to secure long-term partnerships.
