A keen understanding of the high-end market and its demands is essential, being comfortable discussing product solutions in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. The role involves understanding technology, simplifying its explanation, and making recommendations to end-users or referral sources. Defining the scope of work clearly, exploring alternatives with deep industry understanding, and being comfortable with a long sales cycle (3-6 months) to establish long-term partnerships with referral sources are key aspects.
