The role of Senior Sales Associate provides support to the MSB District Manager in covering time off and emergencies at the district level. The role requires willingness to fulfill a flexible work schedule and the ability to easily adapt to different store environments including facilities.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • Computer navigation and software knowledge;
  • Strong customer service experience;
  • Strong cash-handling experience;
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Train, motivate, and coach the Sales Associates to sell MSB services;
  • Maintain a valid CA Driver License;
  • Ability to speak, read and write both English and Spanish efficiently to understand conversations, company manuals, forms, policies, procedures; and other documents;
  • Ability to maintain physical condition and stamina to perform assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting for extended periods of time and operating assigned office equipment;
  • This position requires satisfactory completion of a background check and third-party consumer reporting agency investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers appropriate information to the customer regarding the different financial services with the main objective of increasing sales;
  • Promotes all financial services offered with each customer who visits the store;
  • Operates a computer and processes all the financial transactions effectively.
  • Understands the operation of assigned office equipment;
  • Oversees the safekeeping of the cash that originates from financial transactions;
  • Provides the highest level of customer service to all our customers;
  • Complies with the Company's manual of policies and procedures as well as, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering Regulations in addition to the Company's transmitters businesses partners
  • Must successfully pass an exam on anti-money laundering compliance training with the Company's designated third-party Company. Must attend all AML training assigned by the compliance team.
  • Responsible for training other Sales Associates on all money services business practices and BSA laws and regulations.
  • Inventories services under custody;
  • Maintains the Supervisor informed of any event that might require his/her intervention.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers and associates internally and externally;
  • Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.
