About The Position

The Senior Account Manager is a strategic role responsible for the development of sustainable growth for Mitsubishi Chemical Groups “Carbon Fiber” product lines. The position will work closely with customers to contribute towards the group’s vision and mission for business growth in the Aerospace market. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies that will favorably impact future growth of the product lines sales revenue while maximizing profit margins. Additionally, the position will collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to implement methodologies to create new end-use demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree: B.A. or B.S from a four year college or university.
  • Min 5-8 yrs in carbon fiber industry preferred.
  • Aerospace market also preferred.
  • ERP software experience (Sage, Salesforce, SAP, workday) highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including timeline management to deliver results.
  • Facilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Experience supporting compliance & regulatory requirements for risk management.
  • Awareness of AS9100 guidelines and other requirements needed for his role.
  • Background Carbon Fiber preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to drive business development
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Ability to align business development improvement initiatives with the broader strategic goals of the organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of using technical data to understand end user product needs.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive company goals by developing new, profitable and sustainable business growth for the product line.
  • Develop new project/customer pipeline that is maintained in Salesforce.
  • Support cross-functional global teams to implement & develop new products
  • Manage sales forecasting quarterly for assigned customers
  • Support market intelligence inquiries & initiatives
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting on progress of key initiatives
  • Quotes projects & negotiates pricing with customers
  • Support legal team to achieve customer agreements with NDA, GT&C, etc.
  • Collaborates with sales department, sales administrators, purchasing agent, distribution, quality and other internal and external department employees as needed to support business growth
  • Quotes prices and support credit term management for orders obtained.
  • Investigates and negotiates to resolve customer complaints, issues & claims.
  • Develops & Maintains a high level of product and industry market knowledge.
  • Represents the company at trade association meetings and events to promote company products and services.
  • Exhibits exemplary safety, conduct & integrity at all times that contributes to the establishment and attainment of a positive, safe, and team-oriented environment.
  • Additional miscellaneous projects may be assigned as requested by senior management

Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $155,000-$170,000.
  • Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
  • This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
