The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Manager with a proven track record in construction and corporate safety to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of its corporate safety strategy across all business operations. This role will collaborate with executive leadership, Operations, PMO, Service, and Field teams to establish and execute a comprehensive safety program that fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. The Senior Safety Manager will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements, client-specific safety standards, and industry best practices. This position acts as the subject matter expert for safety governance, developing policies, procedures, training programs, risk mitigation strategies, incident management processes, and auditing programs for both field and office operations. The role involves monitoring emerging regulatory requirements, analyzing safety performance metrics, leading investigations into incidents and near misses, and driving corrective actions to reduce risk and prevent injuries. Through proactive leadership, collaboration, and continuous education, this role will protect employees, clients, and the company's reputation while ensuring safe and efficient execution of all company activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive safety leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior-level safety management role supporting construction, low-voltage systems, electronic security, telecommunications, or related industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, state and local safety requirements, workers' compensation practices, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide safety programs, policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership to develop strategic safety objectives and drive organizational accountability for safety performance.
  • Experience leading accident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective action programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of field operations, construction safety, electrical safety, fleet safety, fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, and other high-risk work activities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence employees at all levels of the organization, from field technicians to executive leadership.
  • Experience managing safety audits, customer safety requirements, contractor compliance programs, and regulatory inspections.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and utilize data to drive safety improvements.

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to excellence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software platforms.
  • Must be willing to travel across North America estimated at 25%

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Risk Management, Construction Management, Industrial Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
  • OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510 Certification
  • Other relevant safety credentials are a plus
  • Highly adaptable and able to pivot quickly in dynamic environments.
