About The Position

ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The Senior S&T Research Analyst will provide scientific, technical, and programmatic support to senior leadership within an assigned ONR portfolio. The selected candidate will support the planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives while ensuring alignment with Department of the Navy and Department of Defense priorities. The Senior S&T Research Analyst will work closely with Government leadership, Program Officers, researchers, and stakeholders across the Naval Research Enterprise to support portfolio management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and day-to-day program operations. The role requires a strong understanding of Navy and Marine Corps S&T processes, DoD S&T policies and priorities, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting senior executives in a dynamic research and development environment.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. from an accredited college or university in a field of study relevant to the assigned ONR portfolio
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance
  • At least three (3) years of experience providing management and program support to mid-level executives
  • Prior Department of Defense headquarters support experience
  • Demonstrated Science and Technology (S&T) project or program management experience as a scientist, researcher, program/project manager, or analyst
  • Knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology processes
  • Experience quickly and effectively managing stakeholder engagements and day-to-day organizational operations
  • Knowledge and experience with Department of Defense Science and Technology policies, priorities, and programs

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and experience supporting the assigned ONR portfolio
  • Experience in two (2) or more of the following communities: Naval Science and Technology (S&T), Acquisition, Resource and Requirements, Operational Fleet or Force

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific, technical, and programmatic support to senior leadership within an assigned ONR portfolio.
