About The Position

Drive enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives in the insurance sector through impactful work on the Archer SaaS platform. Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of Business Analyst experience with Archer.
  • Familiarity with Archer Evolv.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance activities, including test planning, test case development, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum, or Archer certification are considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting key Archer use cases, including Operational Risk, IT Risk, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Audit Management, is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or transformation programs is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with integrations, including APIs, ETL, and data mapping, is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX, OSFI, ISO 27001, and GDPR is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows aligned with Archer capabilities.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and obtain signoff on finalized business requirements.
  • Support the design and configuration of Archer applications, including workflows, questionnaires, reporting, and data models.
  • Conduct business demonstrations before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop and execute test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for business stakeholders during UAT by answering questions, providing clarification, and supporting users throughout the testing process.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionality.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery activities, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release support.
  • Maintain project documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, data mappings, user guides, test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Support reporting and dashboards for risk, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives within an integrated delivery model.

Benefits

  • Salaried: $55-65 per hour.
  • Incorporated Business Rate: $65-75 per hour.
  • 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Hybrid schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
