About The Position

Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s Global Headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the Senior RPA Developer at Rocket Lab will design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions that streamline business processes across the organization. Working with Automation Anywhere, you'll build scalable bots and workflows that integrate with Rocket Lab's enterprise systems including ERP, databases, and web applications. Beyond building automations, you'll bring technical expertise to identify high-value automation opportunities, architect robust solutions, and collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to transform manual, repetitive tasks into efficient, automated processes that accelerate Rocket Lab's mission.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (9+ years total work experience)
  • Proven hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere
  • Experience developing automation solutions for Cloud based applications
  • Experience working in a scrum/agile environment
  • Technical experience with: RPA development and orchestration
  • Programming languages (C#, Python, VB.NET, or Java)
  • SQL and relational databases
  • REST APIs and web services integration
  • Exception handling and logging frameworks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing RPA solutions for ERP systems in Aerospace & Defense
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions Automation Anywhere
  • Build and maintain integrations between RPA bots and Rocket Lab's ERP system, databases, web applications, and APIs
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Create reusable automation components and frameworks that follow best practices and coding standards
  • Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing automations for reliability and efficiency
  • Deploy production bots, provide operational support, and deliver training to end users and process owners
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including process definition documents (PDDs) and solution design documents (SDDs)
