About The Position

DRMP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and shape the future of its growing roadway practice across Florida. This role offers the chance to build upon an established foundation, enhance client relationships, mentor engineers, and significantly contribute to delivering major transportation projects in the state. Working with an experienced leadership team, the Senior Project Manager will drive strategic pursuits, support key clients like FDOT and municipalities, and foster the practice's long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (PE required)
  • 15–20+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience
  • Experience managing FDOT and/or municipal roadway projects
  • Familiarity with Florida transportation market and procurement processes
  • Experience supporting proposals and client development efforts
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style

Responsibilities

  • Support Strategic Growth: Partner with client managers to strengthen relationships and expand existing contracts, identify and position targeted opportunities aligned with DRMP’s growth strategy, and contribute to pursuit planning and market positioning efforts.
  • Contribute to Winning Work: Support and lead proposal development, Letters of Response, and interviews; participate in capture planning and teaming strategies for key pursuits; and bring insight to improve competitiveness.
  • Lead Project Delivery: Serve as Project Manager for complex roadway projects, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strengthen the Team: Mentor project managers and junior staff, support a collaborative environment, and contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver Quality: Reinforce DRMP’s reputation through high-quality deliverables and provide guidance supporting technical excellence and client satisfaction.
