About The Position

RK&K is seeking talented Senior Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to work in the Memphis area, with a focus in providing construction engineering inspection services on transportation projects for clients within the area. The Senior Inspectors should have 10+ years of experience working on DOT and/or other local agency construction programs and experience inspecting/managing CEI projects and supervising teams of Inspectors. The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with multiple transportation clients and contractors while being responsible for working on various roadway and bridge projects within the region’s geographic area, oversight of contractor’s quality control operations, quality assurance sampling and testing, completion of Daily Sampling and Testing Reports, data input in SiteManager/LIMS, and daily communication with client, contractor, and field project personnel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of prior experience providing Construction Engineering Inspection services
• Candidates must be trustworthy and responsible
• Must have a solid background in mathematics
• Understand how to read and follow test specifications
• Excellent driving record
• Experience supervising teams of Inspectors and/or Site Management experience
