About The Position

Fidelity is seeking a Senior Risk Manager – Alternative Accounting Risk to provide risk leadership across Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) as the firm grows its Alternatives platform. This role involves partnering closely with FFIO leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to new product launches, fund operations, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. The position leads risk activities across global teams, supports Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements, and contributes to evolving FFIO towards an integrated, end-to-end risk model for alternative investments. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in risk management, audit, or related areas
Strong knowledge of alternative investment products and fund accounting/operations
Proven leadership or project management experience
Solid understanding of risk assessment, control evaluation, and regulatory requirements
Strong data and analytics skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)
Clear, confident communicator able to influence senior leaders
Strategic, adaptable thinker who challenges existing practices and drives improvement

Responsibilities

Provide risk leadership across Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) for the Alternatives platform.
