About The Position

Unlimited Restoration, Inc. (URI) is seeking a full-time Senior Risk Consultant with a focus on FM Global-level risk engineering. This role is designed for individuals with a background in property risk engineering or loss control who want to move beyond traditional assessment and reporting. At URI, risk assessments drive decisions, findings turn into action, and consultants stay connected to the outcome. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in high-value, complex loss environments, with a direct connection to revenue and client impact. The ideal candidate will have experience with FM Global risk assessment standards or similar methodologies, the ability to evaluate commercial and industrial properties, quantify exposure, and advise on mitigation strategies to help position URI before large loss events occur.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in property risk engineering, loss control, or equivalent
  • Direct experience with or strong familiarity with FM Global risk assessment standards and methodologies
  • Direct experience with or strong familiarity with carrier-based property risk engineering (Chubb, Zurich, AIG, etc.)
  • Proven ability to conduct structured property risk assessments
  • Proven ability to evaluate complex commercial/industrial facilities
  • Proven ability to identify and quantify loss exposure
  • Ability to translate technical risk into financial impact
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Systems thinking (understanding interdependencies across building systems)
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of revenue impact
  • Ability to influence decision-making at the ownership/portfolio level

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FM Global risk assessment standards or similar methodologies
  • Background in property risk engineering or carrier-side loss control
  • Ability to evaluate commercial and industrial properties and quantify exposure
  • Experience with formal risk engineering standards
  • Experience with FM Global (Account Engineer, Consultant Engineer)
  • Experience in Property Loss Control (carrier side)
  • Experience with risk engineering consulting firms
