About The Position
The Senior Clinical Operations Professional designs and implements initiatives that optimize clinical operations and enhance care delivery across aligned areas or the organization. The role addresses problems of diverse scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to substantial. The professional identifies strategic improvement opportunities, establishes operational priorities, and develops standardized processes and practices to support clinical operational effectiveness. They align processes with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to promote efficiency, quality, and sustainability. They advise executives on significant functional strategies, often specific to a segment, and exercise independent judgment in resolving complex issues. The role works under minimal supervision and requires analyzing variable factors to determine an appropriate course of action. This is a remote position. Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required. Work-at-home employees must have internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds, and work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five or more years of technical experience.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- For work at home, self-provided internet service must provide at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds; a wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested.
- Work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
