About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior RF Software Engineer to design and implement DSP algorithms in software. These algorithms will focus on high throughput exploitation of signals, particularly those with low signal-to-noise ratios, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations. The role involves modifying existing software and firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products for specific government needs. The engineer will also be responsible for clearly explaining developed models to team members so they can understand and utilize them for processing signals of interest. Requirements

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of RF Software or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • May substitute two (2) years of experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • May substitute four (4) years of additional DSP experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Seven (7) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes.
  • Seven (7) years experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language.
  • Formal training in, or demonstrated proficiency with C++/Linux experience.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software.
  • Developing algorithms focused on high throughput exploitation of signals, with an emphasis on low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations.
  • Conducting necessary modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs.
  • Providing concise explanations of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest.
