About The Position

This role focuses on creating and maintaining electrical system test strategies and plans for Anduril's Electronics Warfare (EW) and Radio Frequency (RF) products. The engineer will characterize wireless communication systems and devices, analyze test failures, and perform integration testing of subassemblies and systems. Responsibilities include facilitating electrical system performance, calibration, durability, and environmental testing, as well as developing test standards and equipment. The position also involves supporting field testing and acting as a liaison for ground and flight testing, leveraging data analysis to reproduce and characterize failures, and automating tests for improved coverage and repeatability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on hardware, software, and / or system validation and verification testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Skilled with test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
  • Familiar with Linux applications like command line (terminal) interface, creating and executing shell scripts, debug utilities, and general file system navigation.
  • Familiar with programming languages like Python or Matlab to perform data parsing, data analysis, and test automation.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain electrical system test strategy and test plans for various Anduril Electronics Warfare (EW) and Radio Frequency (RF) products.
  • Characterize wireless communication systems and devices.
  • Analyze and drive coverage and analysis of failures observed in integration, characterization, and system level testing.
  • Integration testing of subassemblies and systems including RF and digital hardware, firmware, embedded software, and application software.
  • Facilitate electrical system performance, calibration, durability, and environmental testing of developmental components and systems per test plan.
  • Develop and maintain test standards, design and develop test equipment, or procuring and handling purchased test capital equipment to support test readiness.
  • Support and perform field testing and act as a liaison to conduct ground and flight testing.
  • Leverage data analysis and existing tools to reproduce and characterize failures.
  • Automate tests to enhance test coverage and ensure reproducibility and repeatability.
