About The Position

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Senior (Revit) Architectural Technologist with extensive CAD experience to join our dedicated team at our office located in Vaughan, Toronto. In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality architectural designs and ensuring efficient project delivery across project types, largely focused on the life sciences sector.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology.
• 5+ years of Revit experience within an architectural firm.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• High proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC) and construction detailing.
• Good communication skills with clients, consultants, and officials.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with additional software (e.g., SketchUp, Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage architectural drawings and documentation using Revit and CAD software.
• Collaborate with project teams to create accurate and detailed design solutions.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior technologists and team members.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and technical challenges.
• Maintain and update project files, libraries, and templates within the BIM environment.
