Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist
About The Position
Billing Partner Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist to support daily billing operations and assist with coordination of revenue cycle workflows. This role works closely with leadership to support accounts receivable, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, insurance verification, authorization coordination, and client communication. This position is ideal for someone with strong medical billing and revenue cycle experience who is ready to step into a higher-level operational support role without direct personnel management responsibilities. This is a primarily remote position with occasional onsite meetings, training, or operational support in the Phoenix/Peoria area as needed. Candidates must be located in Arizona.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience
- Strong working knowledge of: Accounts receivable
- Claim submission and follow-up
- Denial management and appeals
- Payment posting
- Insurance verification
- Medical and clinical policy guidelines
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multi-specialty, procedural, interventional, and ASC billing
- Familiarity with surgical center billing workflows
- Experience working with payer portals and payer processes
- Experience with vascular billing
Responsibilities
- Support daily billing and revenue cycle operations
- Maintain workflow efficiency and assist with operational organization
- Review and follow up on accounts receivable and denials
- Assist with verification of benefits and authorization coordination
- Help resolve higher-level billing, AR, and patient account issues
- Monitor payer and medical policy updates related to covered procedures
- Support surgical center billing, reporting, and AR communications
- Oversee ultrasound billing workflows
- Provide operational support and workflow guidance to team members as needed
- Assist leadership with process improvement initiatives and revenue cycle organization
