About The Position
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for senior retail banking professionals with deep expertise in consumer lending, branch and digital banking operations, credit risk, regulatory compliance, and customer experience. This role supports advanced AI evaluation work focused on realistic enterprise retail banking scenarios. Selected experts will design complex banking tasks, develop reference outputs, and create evaluation rubrics that reflect how experienced retail banking professionals approach lending, risk, compliance, operations, and customer strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in retail banking, consumer lending, branch operations, credit risk, compliance, or a closely related field
- Senior-level experience within a major retail bank, financial institution, or consumer banking organisation
- Direct ownership of lending portfolios, branch or digital banking operations, credit-risk programmes, or regulatory compliance initiatives
- Strong understanding of consumer lending, underwriting, credit risk, banking operations, and customer experience
- Familiarity with enterprise banking platforms such as FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, loan origination systems, CRM platforms, or comparable tools
- Strong understanding of CFPB, OCC, FDIC, KYC/AML, and retail banking compliance requirements
- Experience with regulatory examinations, credit-risk governance, fraud prevention, or banking policy development
- Ability to communicate complex banking and risk reasoning clearly and precisely in writing

Responsibilities
- Develop realistic scenarios involving mortgage, auto, personal, and other consumer lending products
- Create tasks covering underwriting, credit decisioning, pricing, portfolio management, and lending policy
- Apply credit risk scoring methodologies and practical underwriting judgement
- Evaluate lending decisions for risk, compliance, and operational soundness
- Produce reference lending policies, credit assessments, and portfolio analyses
- Design scenarios involving branch networks, digital banking channels, and omnichannel customer service
- Develop tasks reflecting large-scale retail banking operations and customer workflows
- Evaluate operational decisions affecting service quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes
- Assess trade-offs across branch, mobile, online, and contact-centre channels
- Produce reference operational analyses and recommendations
- Create tasks involving retail banking compliance, regulatory examinations, and risk governance
- Apply relevant frameworks involving the CFPB, OCC, FDIC, KYC, AML, and related banking requirements
- Evaluate compliance reviews, policies, and operational controls
- Identify regulatory gaps, control weaknesses, and potential customer-impact risks
- Develop reference compliance assessments and executive-level narratives
- Develop scenarios involving fraud prevention, identity verification, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity
- Apply KYC and AML protocols within retail banking workflows
- Evaluate fraud detection and escalation processes
- Assess the interaction between fraud controls, customer experience, and operational efficiency
- Produce reference risk assessments and fraud-control recommendations
- Develop tasks involving core banking platforms such as FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, or comparable systems
- Apply familiarity with loan origination systems, CRM platforms, and banking operations technology
- Create scenarios involving customer data, lending workflows, and account servicing
- Evaluate operational processes supported by banking technology platforms
- Structure complex banking information into clear, reviewable outputs
- Develop scenarios involving customer experience, service design, retention, and relationship management
- Assess customer journeys across lending, deposits, digital banking, and branch interactions
- Evaluate strategies designed to improve retention, satisfaction, and long-term customer value
- Identify friction points and operational issues affecting customer outcomes
- Produce reference recommendations grounded in senior retail banking judgement
- Design expert-level evaluation tasks across retail banking workflows
- Draft reference outputs demonstrating authentic senior-level banking judgement
- Develop rubrics that distinguish professional banking reasoning from generic textbook or licensing-level responses
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, regulatory awareness, risk sensitivity, and operational realism
- Identify subtle reasoning errors, weak assumptions, and incomplete recommendations
- Provide clear written rationale supporting evaluation decisions
