About The Position

The Senior Resource Sales Specialist serves as a key leader and frontline contributor on the Resource Sales Team. This role partners closely with the Resource Sales Team Manager to guide, coach, and support team members, while also maintaining an active sales portfolio of churches and ministry partners. With a balance of leadership and hands-on sales responsibilities, the Senior Resource Sales Specialist will help equip churches with Vacation Bible School (VBS) materials, Sunday School curricula, books, and additional Christian resources. This role requires both ministry-minded service and strategic sales ability, ensuring that the team delivers excellent support while achieving ministry goals. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Requirements

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills – ability to interact with guests and coworkers across all departments and levels.
  • Knowledge of Answers in Genesis, Creation Museum and Ark Encounter mission, philosophy, values, and objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills that motivate team members.
  • Two or more years of successful sales experience required, telephone sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
  • Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
  • Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
  • Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
  • Partner with the Resource Sales Team Manager to lead and support the Resource Sales Team. Promote a sales team mindset that serves our guests while benefiting the ministry.
  • Model Christlike leadership by fostering a culture of service, integrity, and collaboration. (SERVE)
  • Take an active role in training sales team members on product and sales techniques.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to team members by modeling best practices in relationship-building, product knowledge, and solution-oriented service.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to colleagues, stepping in to assist with challenging accounts or escalated needs.
  • Help lead team meetings, training sessions, and workflow improvements in alignment with management direction.
  • Actively promote and sell VBS materials, Sunday School curricula, books, and other resources.
  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding overall team sales goals.
  • Assist with reporting and team coordination tasks.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
