Requirements

• Certified appraiser with the State of Missouri
• Qualified as a supervisor for trainees for appraisal licenses.

Responsibilities

• Making field and office appraisals of more difficult and complex agricultural and residential, special purpose (condo’s, coop’s), and vacant properties.
• Gathering, recording, maintaining and analyzing a variety of data such as zoning, asking and selling prices, income and building costs.
• Receiving and investigating complaints about property assessments, making reappraisals and submitting recommendations at hearings.
• Preparing and supporting technical cases for the Board of Equalization hearings and State Tax Commission hearings.
