Manage day-to-day operations and provide comprehensive supervision of the Department of Surgery’s Plastic Surgery and General Education’s research program, its data personnel, and specialized analytical infrastructures. Process and manage all aspects of translational, clinical, basic science, and surgical education research projects contracted through the department and the IMPRESS Program. This position acts as the central operational hub—bridging the gap between attending faculty, plastic surgery fellows, general surgery residents, medical students, and analytical personnel. The Manager is responsible for scheduling multi research timelines, managing independent data operations, maintaining programmatic inventories (software licenses, secure data shares), purchasing programmatic assets, and planning comprehensive records for multiple projects and tasks. Additionally, this role maintains strict institutional compliance with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), ensuring total adherence to all university, federal, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) data security and confidentiality guidelines.
