About The Position

The Senior Research Scientist will join Q-CTRL’s Quantum Computing Research team to develop software solutions for calibrating and optimizing quantum dot devices. The role focuses on robust routines for coarse tuning, calibration of high-fidelity single- and two-qubit gates, processor-wide optimization, and maintaining peak performance in real time. The scientist will collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to turn research insights into usable software tools and production-level solutions. The position includes performing cryogenic measurements and characterizing quantum dot-based qubits; designing, implementing, and testing control protocols across device bring-up and gate optimization; and developing scalable methods for processor-wide optimization and real-time retuning. The role also involves documenting and presenting research clearly, engaging with researchers at partner organizations about Q-CTRL calibration routines, and driving product development and delivery.

Requirements
