About The Position

Performs experimental studies in the lab relating to specific research projects. Carries out clinical and research activities as directed. Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Philosophy required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts independent research and/or development work as part of a major research project.
• Interprets test results and makes recommendations.
• Collaborates with industry or academic specialists to apply the results of research and develop new techniques.
• Presents ongoing work and findings at conferences and summarizes the nature and methodology of the research.
• Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, correspondence, attending meetings, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc.
• Submits manuscripts and abstracts for publication/presentation.
