About The Position

The Senior Research Biostatistician provides biostatistical collaboration and consultative services to Cancer Center investigators conducting clinical, biological, behavioral, and cancer control research. The role creates and executes computer programs to import, merge, and process data into analytic datasets; conducts statistical analyses using appropriate methods; and assists with interpreting and presenting results and reports. The position works directly with researchers to define study objectives, establish analysis plans, and provide statistical experimental designs. It also participates in ongoing monitoring of investigator-initiated clinical trials.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Data Sciences.
• Five years of experience in data analysis and interpretation of results.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in a biomedical research environment with a publication track record.
• Five years of experience with statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or STATA.
