The Senior Software Requirements Engineer is responsible for understanding subsystem features and applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, elicit, create, and maintain high-quality software requirements. This role works closely with systems engineering, software development, verification, and clinical stakeholders to evaluate system requirements and ensure that in addition to needed functions, software requirements appropriately account for code development, verification activities, and clinical aspects of software functionality. The Senior Software Requirements Engineer supports product development by performing core requirements engineering activities—including investigating, defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements—for assigned projects and features. This position requires analytical thinking, technical judgment, and the application of engineering and scientific principles to solve complex technical problems. The role involves independently resolving assigned tasks within projects by applying both technical and clinical understanding, exercising sound judgment in planning and executing work, and using effective, efficient, and best-practice approaches to requirements management.
