Spire is seeking a Senior Right of Way Representative to work in the Kansas City, MO, service territory. The representative will be responsible for securing easements and land rights for Spire’s local distribution and Midstream companies. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Valid driver’s license, required.
Five years of experience reading construction drawings.
Five years of experience reading land legal descriptions and surveys.
Computer training.
Knowledge of G.I.S., Maximo, IProcurement and iMap systems.

Nice To Haves

Certified Right of Way Agent with International Right of Way Association (IRWA), preferred.

Responsibilities

Secure railroad permits, negotiate with landowners for easements, leases, and purchase agreements, and other real property interests in accordance with government standards and practices for Spire’s local distribution and Midstream companies.
Work with consultants for land acquisition, survey, and staking work through the RFP process, including the contractor’s quality, quantity, and timeliness of work for Spire’s local distribution and Midstream companies.
Process requests for releasing, vacating, and encroaching easements for Spire’s local distribution and Midstream companies.
Handle Underground Gas Storage Lease & Oil Royalty payments, including parcel ownership, land records, annual payments, and the easement conversion program for Spire’s local distribution and Midstream companies.
Work within Spire’s STL Pipeline right of way clearing and vegetation management program.
Renew franchise agreements with municipalities in Missouri service territories.
Secure easements for various construction jobs.
Secure railroad permits for installation of Spire’s gas lines.
Secure easements for large pipeline projects.
Work with cities, counties, and various municipalities to coordinate Spire projects.
Secure engineering services for surveying and staking work.
Regular attendance is considered an essential job function.
