About The Position

This position offers the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a substantial workload. Core responsibilities include reviewing accounts upon receipt of impound and seizure notices, negotiating fees with impound lots and external counsel, and assessing the cost-effectiveness of securing units. In this role, you will communicate regularly via email and phone with a diverse range of stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, impound lots, dealers, seizing agencies, and insurance companies. You will be responsible for executing multiple documents and responding promptly to incoming inquiries. Success in this position requires exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, analytical abilities, and the capacity to identify and escalate potential risks as needed.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Collections or experience required (1 year of experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, written, and oral communication skills strongly recommended
  • Experience navigating Microsoft Outlook
  • Comprehension and judgment are required regarding applicability of guidelines or policies to specific situations

  • Preferred knowledge of Ally systems with expert data entry and word processing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment while multitasking simultaneously in several systems
  • Handle inbound/outbound calls from customers, related parties, impound facilities, skip suppliers, dealers, third parties while meeting QC call monitoring requirements
  • Able to work closely with outside repossession companies and other suppliers on various requests with a sense of urgency
  • Quickly identify and help mitigate potential risks
  • Ability to exercise judgement for researching complex issues and to think outside the box for possible solutions
  • Meet internal metrics and be self-driven to exceed those goals
  • Ability to effectively manage a large volume of emails while providing timely and accurate responses
