About The Position

Expansion Capital Group (ECG) provides financing solutions that help small businesses access the capital they need to grow. We are looking for a Senior Renewals Representative to support our Renewals team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and helping existing customers identify financing solutions that support their continued growth. You'll play a key role behind the scenes by managing an assigned portfolio of existing and inactive customers, strengthening customer relationships, and creating opportunities for repeat business through exceptional service and thoughtful financial solutions. In this role, you'll proactively engage customers, understand their evolving financing needs, and guide them through the renewal process while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in account management, customer success, relationship management, financial services, banking, or another customer-facing role
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, teamwork, and customer focus

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of existing and inactive customers throughout the renewal process
  • Build lasting customer relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up
  • Understand each customer's financing needs and recommend solutions that align with their business goals
  • Prepare pricing, financing proposals, and supporting documentation
  • Guide customers through the renewal process while delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Re-engage inactive customers and identify opportunities to restore business relationships
  • Identify additional financing opportunities that provide value to existing customers
  • Maintain an active pipeline of renewal opportunities through consistent relationship management
  • Track customer activity, forecasts, and pipeline performance within CRM systems
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate customer documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement
