Requirements

Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Ardmore Refinery, required.
Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
Assists in formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.
Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.
Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.
Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.
