SURGICAL INNOVATIONS set the standard for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) by creating innovative surgical products and services that focus on obesity and diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, abdominal wall, pelvic region, and the head and neck. As a Senior R&D Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and data related to reported failures. You will perform detailed failure analyses by utilizing investigative techniques such as the "Cause Map" or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to uncover underlying issues. Your role also involves analyzing trends in reported failures to identify potential areas of improvement. Collaborating with product owners and design teams to integrate reliability enhancements and effectively communicating investigation outcomes to stakeholders and affected customers will be key aspects of your responsibilities. This is an onsite role at our North Haven, CT site.
