Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and five (5) years related experience in Engineering, OR
Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in Engineering.
Proficiency of MS Office suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
Ability to listen and understand information and ideas and express thought and ideas clearly and concisely through oral and written communication.
Customer focused to provide quality service to improve equipment and process reliability.
Knowledge and understanding of reliability centered maintenance practices.
Experience with engineering design drawings and schematics.
Self-starter with solid integrity.
Understand the importance of safety, legality and quality.
Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Responsibilities

Identify system constraints and proactively pursues elimination of them through the continuous improvement cycle.
Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures and reduces production costs through development of maintenance methods to improve process efficiency and reliability.
Lead others and/or performs root cause analysis of equipment failures. Acts as a subject matter expert as required and assists in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.
Research new reliability processes and identifies methods to predict and improve reliability.
Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and sets expectations within the department for precision maintenance.
Review and establish Key Performance Indices for equipment.
Identify PM opportunities and maintenance plans by leading failure mode and effect analysis.
Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and identifies reports to measure health indicators.
Proactively develops and provides safety perspective for equipment and processes; makes recommendations of engineering solutions or methods to eliminate hazards.
Perform other duties as required.
