About The Position

The Senior Relationship Manager - RIA role is responsible for overseeing highly complex client relationships within the US Wealth division. This position ensures client satisfaction, prompt response to needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, and risk mitigation. The role requires deep expertise to proactively identify growth opportunities and manage typically large client relationships that may span multiple products and services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, up to 20% of the time
  • Specialized knowledge in products like ETFs, SMAs, mutual funds, and alternatives.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively consults on large, highly complex client relationships and ensures continued client satisfaction and retention and that client needs are met.
  • Advises clients on best practices, organizational solutions, and regulatory changes.
  • Promotes firm services and offerings to assigned clients based on understanding of clients' objectives to increase client revenue from clients whose business may affect business unit or regional financial performance for the firm.
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities for products and services that may span across multiple segments/channels.
  • Will structure deals in the best interests of the client and the firm.
  • Directly manages highly complex client projects and oversees the successful execution of client initiatives.
  • Tracks and reports on client metrics. Responsible for the identification and development of appropriate metrics.
  • Develop and executes client service strategy for relationships assigned and ensures successful client relationship performance, including asset and client retention.
  • Serves as an expert on best practices, new regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings throughout the client service function.
  • Contributes to developing recommendations on how to integrate these developments into process or policy changes.
  • Partners with various internal groups (marketing, compliance, legal, products, etc.) for the complex onboarding due diligence efforts for custom solutions.
  • Support sales efforts and lead prospect finals meetings.
