About The Position

This role is for an individual looking to advance their financial institution career into management. The Senior Relationship Banker will learn operational duties while leveraging current skills to maintain and deepen relationships with existing members. The primary focus is on member satisfaction and helping them achieve their financial goals. The position involves working on the platform to open new accounts, process consumer and real estate loan applications, and interview members to identify suitable financial products and services. The role also includes accurately processing various member account transactions and potentially acting as a supervisor in the manager's absence. Additionally, the Senior Relationship Banker will assist management with branch operations, certifications, and organizing outbound activities to drive growth.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of financial institution experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience opening new accounts and processing loan applications, including real estate applications.
  • Ability to actively cross-sell products & services.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of member’s info.

Responsibilities

  • Actively work on the platform opening new accounts and new shares for existing members.
  • Process and fund all consumer loan applications.
  • Process real estate applications.
  • Interview potential and existing members to determine appropriate products and services that meet their financial needs.
  • Accurately process routine member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, cash advances, and general ledger postings.
  • Act in the capacity of a supervisor in the absence of a manager.
  • Assist Management with branch opening and processing of monthly, quarterly, or yearly branch certifications.
  • Organize outbound activities, including phone calls, to seek additional growth opportunities for the branch.
  • Actively cross-sell products & services.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of member information.
