About The Position

Schemmer of Denver is looking to hire a detail-oriented Senior Architect. This role is key to the firm’s success and growth within the Architecture Division. The Senior Architect will be responsible for the design and production of various architectural construction projects while maintaining regular contact with clients. Success in managing project teams and budgets is crucial to ensure the successful completion of projects while satisfying clients' needs for cost-effective and critical design criteria. The role also involves supporting business development by strengthening client relationships, participating in pursuit strategy, and contributing to proposals and interviews. The ideal candidate is a natural-born leader with a keen eye for design.

Requirements

• Master/BS/BA Architecture degree
• 10 + years of progressive work experience
• Professionally Licensed Architect
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate with clients and project team members
• Experience in business development including building client relationships and participating in project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam and other software related to the field of architecture
• Produced quality architectural construction documents
• General knowledge of estimating & specification writing
• Experience designing a variety of building types
