About The Position
Advantage Point Group is seeking a Minnesota-licensed Senior Registered Architect to join their Facilities Design Team. This role involves leading the architectural vision for commercial and industrial facility projects, mentoring junior staff, and serving as a client advisor. The position offers a balance of high-level strategy and hands-on design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Current Minnesota Architect License.
- 7–10 years of experience in commercial and industrial architectural design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to explain complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating detailed construction documents and ensuring code compliance.
Nice To Haves
- NCARB preferred.
- Experience with 3M drawings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural suite from programming and planning to demo plans, elevations, and construction details.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with MN codes (IBC, Life Safety, etc.).
- Act as the primary architectural point of contact for clients, translating their needs into technical reality.
- Provide work direction and guidance to Architectural Designers and CAD Drafters.
- Handle construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI management.
