Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (echocardiography required); bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Active cardiac ultrasound registry (RDCS or RCS required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of adult echocardiography experience
  • Previous experience in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
  • Subject matter expert on HCM and extensive knowledge of relevant scientific literature
  • Masterfully communicates in presentations, written and spoken word, and interpersonal skills with each stakeholder demonstrating effective prior research and emotionally intelligent approaches
  • Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategies and plans that facilitate long term, highly productive and collaborative relationships with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers
  • Leads peer-to-peer scientific discussions focused on the safe and appropriate use of therapies, and provides best practices and guidance to team members to ensure highest level of impact across REL team
  • Gathers, communicates and leads field-based insights and insight discussions on disease state, clinical practice, and patient management
  • Translates complex clinical and scientific data into clear, actionable insights for echocardiography and sonography professionals
  • Serves as a trusted scientific resource among the REL team and within the healthcare community
  • Aligns field activities with medical strategy and evolving stakeholder needs
  • Independently creates highly effective strategic and tactical plans for self and guides team members in the same, which include critical analysis of HCP & Institution complexity. Effectively applies this information to inform their own and others’ decisions
  • Seeks and executes productive, unique and innovate ways to address both opportunities and challenges
  • Actively seeks opportunities to engage others representing a collaboration / synergy that ultimately improves results. Seen by team as role-model in how teamwork and collaboration drive improved performance
  • Sets high standards for self and others related to goal setting and achievement through noticeable positive job performance and results. Provides guidance to other team members who may be facing key business activities where leadership presence will be essential for success
