About The Position

At Phreesia, the Senior Recruiter plays a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring the talent that helps us deliver on our mission of making care easier every day. Operating within our Business Partner Model, you’ll act as a strategic talent acquisition advisor to HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and senior and executive leaders — leading searches across multiple departments, position levels, and geographic locations. You’ll bring deep full-cycle recruiting expertise and sound judgment to every stage of the process and be trusted to operate with a high degree of independence. You’ll care deeply about delivering a best-in-class experience for every candidate and hiring manager, bring grit to our most challenging and highest-stakes searches, try new approaches that improve how we hire, and consistently make excellent things happen for the business and the teams you support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant full-cycle recruiting experience, including experience recruiting for senior or specialized roles

  • Proven track record of success in results-driven, full-cycle recruiting, including hard-to-fill or confidential searches
  • Demonstrated executive presence and communicate with senior leaders in a confident, credible, and concise way
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and balancing multiple complex searches while maintaining quality and responsiveness
  • Experience mentoring or informally leading other recruiters
  • Strong business acumen and can understand organizational needs and align talent strategies accordingly
  • Adaptable and growth-oriented, with an interest in learning and evolving alongside changing business needs
  • Extensive experience recruiting across multiple levels and functions, including senior-level searches across North America
  • Experience managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships, including relationships with senior leaders
  • Comfortable operating with a high level of independence
  • Committed to professional development and staying current in the recruiting industry
  • Global recruiting experience, which is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Workday, which is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting.
  • Lead the end-to-end North America recruiting process for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates at all levels.
  • Shape the search strategy.
  • Lead search strategy and kickoff meetings with hiring managers and HR partners to align on job requirements, qualifications, and the ideal candidate profile, while bringing a point of view on market conditions and hiring approach.
  • Partner with senior leaders.
  • Work directly with senior leaders on searches, presenting market insights, candidate slates, and hiring recommendations with credibility and polish.
  • Raise the bar across the recruiting team.
  • Mentor and coach other recruiters, sharing best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management.
  • Be a strategic talent advisor.
  • Guide business leaders on compensation, market trends, and interview approaches while exercising sound judgment in ambiguous or high-stakes hiring situations.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on recruiting trends and AI-enabled tools, and lead projects that sharpen team processes and strategy.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Serve as a Phreesia brand ambassador by creating a high-touch, authentic, and inclusive experience for every candidate and modeling that standard for the broader recruiting team.
  • Keep stakeholders connected.
  • Communicate proactively and consistently to create a transparent and engaging journey that reflects our culture and values for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use data to improve outcomes.
  • Leverage recruiting data and metrics to track performance, inform hiring decisions, and improve results.
  • Create consistency and compliance.
  • Support hiring consistency through scorecards, process standards, and timely feedback in Workday.
  • Adapt to what each search needs.
  • Thrive in ambiguity, adjusting your recruiting approach and process to fit the unique demands of each search rather than applying a one-size-fits-all playbook.
