About The Position

The Ratings Talent Acquisition team is a global team responsible for hiring top talent in the market to support S&P Global's position as the largest credit rating agency in the world. This role focuses on delivering recruitment for a portfolio of vacancies in the Americas, with potential to support other regions. The position also involves contributing to talent acquisition operations, strategy, and enterprise-wide projects, offering opportunities for growth, skill development, and shaping global hiring practices. Requirements

  • Experience owning recruitment outcomes across complex, specialist portfolios within financial services, capital markets, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of credit markets and financial products, with experience supporting hiring within credit ratings, debt capital markets (DCM), fixed income, investment, or banking-related functions.
  • Ability to set priorities and delivery approaches independently, with accountability for portfolio‑level outcomes.
  • Strong recruitment judgment, advising confidently in ambiguous or high‑impact hiring scenarios.
  • Demonstrated coaching capability that strengthens team consistency and execution quality.
  • Trusted advisor who influences through insight, credibility, and constructive challenge with senior hiring leaders in technical or market‑facing roles.
  • Highly effective communicator, able to synthesize labour market intelligence, financial talent trends, and qualitative insight into clear narratives.
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, or similar stakeholders in regulated financial environments.
  • Strong AI fluency paired with professional judgment and accountability.
  • Experience shaping and scaling AI‑enabled recruitment practices beyond individual use cases.
  • Change‑ready mindset and commitment to continuous learning in talent technology, analytics, and future skill trends.
  • Proven success operating in controlled environments with high standards for confidentiality, data integrity, and regulatory awareness.
  • Sound judgment in applying governance guardrails, including responsible AI use.
  • Experience managing external recruitment partners within defined governance and compliance frameworks.
  • 10+ years of relevant recruitment or financial services experience.
  • Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
  • Candidates who reach the final stage of the interview process will be asked to attend at least one in‑person interview at their nearest S&P Global Ratings office before an offer can be extended.
  • This role is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end recruitment delivery for an assigned portfolio, ensuring high‑quality hires, clear accountability, and a strong candidate experience.
  • Coach and support junior recruiters, strengthening capability in sourcing, data discipline, and effective use of recruitment tools.
  • Drive consistency and scale by embedding standard workflows and global best practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement by streamlining hiring processes while safeguarding governance and judgment.
  • Translate talent research, market insights, and data into clear, decision‑ready narratives.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring leaders, People partners, and cross‑functional teams through collaborative, emotionally intelligent engagement.
  • Demonstrate resilience and change agility while role‑modelling S&P Global’s purpose and values.
  • Enable AI‑driven productivity through reusable assets and lightweight automations that free capacity for high‑value candidate engagement.
  • Use approved AI and LLM tools within recruitment workflows, applying validation and professional judgment to maintain trusted outcomes.
  • Partner with TA leadership and HR Technology teams to identify and scale AI and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to global recruitment policies and data governance, escalating risks early with practical recommendations.
  • Embed responsible AI use and protect confidential candidate and business information.
  • Help define automation guardrails, clarifying what should remain human‑led.
  • Manage external recruitment agencies within a controlled, standards‑based framework.
